Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
FlowsAnalytics ("FlowsAnalytics", "we", "us") provides an analytics workspace that connects to your existing data sources and makes product, marketing, and revenue data explorable by non-technical teams. For the personal data described in this policy, FlowsAnalytics is the data controller in respect of our own account and website data, and a data processor in respect of the customer data you connect to the platform.
FlowsAnalytics, 1209 N Orange Street, Wilmington, DE 19801, United States. Contact: [email protected].
2. Data we collect
Account data. Name, work email address, company name, role, and authentication credentials when you create an account or request a demo.
Billing data. Plan, billing contact, and transaction records for paid plans. Card details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored on our systems.
Customer data. The records you connect or upload from your warehouse and third-party sources so the platform can model and visualise them. This data remains yours. We process it only to provide the service, and we do not sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to train models for other customers.
Usage data. Log data such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, features used, and timestamps, used to operate, secure, and improve the service.
Cookies. Strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session integrity, and — where you consent — analytics cookies that help us understand aggregate product usage. You can reject non-essential cookies without losing access to core functionality.
3. How we use data
To provide, maintain, and secure the platform; to authenticate users and prevent abuse; to provide support; to send service and billing notices; to improve reliability and performance; and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.
4. Legal bases (UK/EU)
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract for account, billing, and service delivery; legitimate interests for security, abuse prevention, and product improvement, balanced against your rights; consent for non-essential cookies and marketing email, withdrawable at any time; and legal obligation where retention or disclosure is required by law.
5. Sharing and subprocessors
We share data only with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract — cloud hosting, payment processing, error monitoring, and email delivery — and only as needed to run the service. We may disclose data where required by law, or as part of a merger or acquisition, in which case we will give notice before your data becomes subject to a different policy. A current list of subprocessors is available on request from [email protected].
6. International transfers
We are based in the United States and may process data outside your country of residence. Where we transfer personal data out of the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Retention
Account data is retained for the life of your account and for up to 12 months after closure, unless a longer period is required for legal, tax, or dispute-resolution purposes. Customer data connected to the platform is deleted or returned within 30 days of account termination on request. Aggregated or anonymised data that can no longer identify you or your customers may be retained indefinitely.
8. Security
We use encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, least-privilege internal access, and audit logging. Enterprise plans additionally support SSO and customer-accessible audit logs. No system is perfectly secure, but we will notify affected customers and any relevant regulator of a personal data breach without undue delay where required by law.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal data; correction of inaccurate data; deletion; restriction of or objection to processing; portability in a machine-readable format; and withdrawal of consent. California residents may additionally request disclosure of the categories of personal information collected, and may opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — note that we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. We do not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
To exercise any right, email [email protected]. We respond within 30 calendar days, extendable by a further 60 days for complex requests with notice to you. We may ask for proof of identity before acting. If you are in the UK or EEA, you also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.
If you are an end user whose data was connected to the platform by one of our customers, please direct your request to that customer, who is the controller of that data. We will assist them in responding.
10. Children
FlowsAnalytics is a business product and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be notified by email or in-product notice before they take effect, and the "last updated" date above will change.
Terms of Service
1. Agreement
By accessing or using FlowsAnalytics, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and any organisation you represent. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
FlowsAnalytics provides a hosted analytics workspace including data connectors, modelling, dashboards, exploration, and alerting. Features vary by plan as described on our pricing page. We may add, modify, or remove features, and will give reasonable notice before removing functionality that materially reduces the value of a paid plan.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate registration information, keep credentials confidential, and are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract.
4. Plans, trials, and billing
The Starter plan is free and subject to the usage limits shown on the pricing page. Paid plans are billed per user per month in advance. Trials run for 14 days and do not require a card; unless you choose a paid plan, the account reverts to Starter when the trial ends. Fees are exclusive of taxes, which you are responsible for. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable, but you may cancel at any time and will not be charged for subsequent periods. Enterprise pricing and terms are set out in a separate order form, which prevails over these terms in the event of conflict.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the service unlawfully or in breach of third-party rights; upload data you lack the right to process; attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform or other customers' data; probe, scan, or load-test the service without our written consent; reverse engineer or copy the platform; resell or provide the service to third parties except as permitted by your plan; or use the service to build a competing product. We may suspend access for material breach, giving notice where practicable.
6. Your data and ownership
You retain all rights to the data you connect or upload. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, and display that data solely to provide the service to you. We claim no ownership over it. We may use aggregated, anonymised statistics that do not identify you or your customers to improve the service. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to provide any personal data you connect, and for any required notices or consents.
7. Intellectual property
The platform, its software, design, and documentation remain the property of FlowsAnalytics and its licensors. Feedback you provide may be used without restriction or compensation.
8. Confidentiality
Each party will protect the other's non-public information with at least reasonable care and use it only to perform under these terms, excluding information that is public, independently developed, or lawfully received from a third party.
9. Availability and support
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service except where a written SLA applies to your plan. Planned maintenance will be notified in advance where practicable. Support levels vary by plan.
10. Warranties and disclaimers
We provide the service with reasonable skill and care. Otherwise, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Analytics output depends on the data you connect; you are responsible for decisions made using it.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these terms will not exceed the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or US$100 if you are on a free plan. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
12. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend for material breach, non-payment, or where required by law. On termination your right to use the service ends; you may export your data for 30 days, after which we may delete it in line with the retention section above.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any competent court to protect its intellectual property or confidential information.
14. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes take effect 30 days after notice, and continued use after that constitutes acceptance. Questions about these terms: [email protected].
